SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
The Workshop on Pattern Analysis and Recognition aims to bring together researchers in the fields of Pattern Recognition. The workshop will address recent advances in theory, methodologies and applications. It is meant to promote the discussion and presentation of new research and development in the area of pattern recognition and applications.
We encourage original contributions from works on the following areas and other related topics:

PAPER SUBMISSION
You are invited to submit original and unpublished research works on above and other topics related to pattern analysis and recognition. Submitted papers must not have been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Please submit a PDF copy of your full manuscript, not to exceed 7 double-column IEEE formatted pages, and include up to 6 keywords and an abstract of no more than 450 words. Additional pages will be charged additional fee. Submission should include a cover page with authors' names, affiliation addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers, and authors email addresses. Please, indicate clearly the corresponding author. Each paper will receive a minimum of three reviews. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper will have to register and attend the HPCS 2011 conference to present the paper at the workshop. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Papers should be submitted as email attachments to workshop organizer at valev@math.bas.bg. Your submission will be acknowledged within 48 hours.
If accepted, final papers will follow the format that HPCS 2011 posts on the web site. Papers will be selected based on their originality, relevance, technical clarity and presentation. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be registered and presented at the workshop upon acceptance. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be available at the time of the meeting.
